Install the drainage system inside the warehouse in advance.

In a large warehouse or a large amount of dehumidifier, it is recommended to use this method to drain.

Precautions for installing the drainage system

The drainage system of the dehumidifier requires your company’s plumbers in advance. Consider the flow of water and the length of the pipeline，it is necessary to ensure the water collected from the dehumidifier can smoothly flow to the company’s reservoir. Here, we explain the precautions simply.

The location of the water pipe must be 20cm lower than the height of the hose, and it can also be flat with the ground to prevent the water from flowing into the dehumidifier and cause failure.

The drainage system inside the warehouse needs to be tilted towards the storage tank. There is a certain tilt angle that will be more conducive to flowing out of the pipeline.

Q: The dehumidifier is far from the drainage. Can the hose be extended?

A: Do not increase the length of the hose by itself. The main reasons are the following 3 points.

1)   The 12-meter-long drainage hose is easy to cause drainage clogging .

2)  Long-term blockage of the water pipe will affect the normal operation of the machine. And it is easy to cause damage.

3)  The drainage of the water pipe is not smooth, which will easily cause the water tray to freeze, as shown in the figure. And affect the dehumidification effect.

So use the original hose of the dehumidifier, do not change it by yourself.
